Cancellation

You can cancel at any time, during the trial or after it, from Billing in the app. Here is how, and what happens next.

How to cancel

  1. Sign in to Byline Leads.
  2. Open Billing in the app.
  3. Click Cancel trial (or Cancel plan), then Yes, cancel.

That is all: no email, no call, and nothing to confirm anywhere else. To change your card or download invoices, use Manage billing on the same page, which opens Stripe's secure billing page.

You get an email confirming the cancellation and the date your access ends. If you cannot sign in, email hello@bylineleads.com from the address on your account and we cancel it for you. If your email reaches us before a charge is taken, we refund that charge.

If you cancel during the free trial

  • You are not charged. The $10 charge on day 8 does not happen.
  • You keep full access until the trial would have ended.
  • The free trial is one per account, so if you come back later, billing starts from the first day.

If you cancel after the trial

  • You are not charged again.
  • You keep access until the end of the month you have already paid for.
  • There are no partial refunds for the rest of that month, except where the law requires one. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, see the right of withdrawal in the terms.

What happens to your data

Cancelling ends your subscription, not your account. Your trackers, results, drafts and sender brief stay where they are, so you can pick up where you left off if you subscribe again. While you have no active subscription you cannot open the app, apart from the billing page, and your trackers are not scanned.

To delete your account and everything in it, email hello@bylineleads.com. We delete it within 30 days, apart from billing records we must keep by law. See the privacy policy.

Changed your mind?

Until your access ends you can undo the cancellation from Billing in the app (under Manage billing), and your subscription carries on as before. After that, subscribe again at any time for $10 a month.
