1. Who we are

Byline Leads (bylineleads.com) is operated by Jaspero d.o.o., Drniška 9, 31000 Osijek, Croatia, VAT ID HR38473301731 ("we", "us"). You can reach us at hello@bylineleads.com.

By starting a trial or a subscription you agree to these terms. If you use Byline Leads for a company, you confirm that you may agree to them on its behalf.

2. The service

Byline Leads helps you find public conversations that matter to what you sell. You set up trackers: what you sell, the searches your customers make, the countries and the platforms. We check Google's first page of results for those searches through a licensed search results provider, and list the posts, threads, videos, questions and forum topics that rank there on platforms where anyone can open an account and reply, with their rank, marking what is new at each scan.

Up to 10 new results a day are released to your account, each with a reply drafted automatically by an AI model. The service also includes new versions of a reply on request, notifications of new results by email and to other services you connect, and a private RSS feed for each tracker.

You read, decide and post yourself. We never post, comment, message, vote or sign in on any platform on your behalf, and we do not automate any account. The service is meant for business and professional use.

3. Your account

  • An account is for one person. Do not share your account or your sign-in links.
  • You sign in with links sent to your email address, so keep that mailbox secure. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
  • Give us a real email address that you read. We use it for sign-in, billing and service messages.

4. Subscription and free trial

  • There is one plan, Pro, at $10 per month, billed in US dollars through Stripe. Any taxes that apply are shown at checkout before you confirm.
  • The plan includes up to 3 trackers, each with up to 10 searches and 3 countries, scanned daily or weekly, plus 1 manual scan per tracker a day. Up to 10 new results a day (UTC) are released to your account across all your trackers, best ranked first, each with an automatic reply draft. Further results wait and are released on the following days.
  • New customers get a 7-day free trial. A card is required to start it, at Stripe Checkout. Nothing is charged when the trial starts. During the trial everything works as in the paid plan.
  • Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your card is charged $10 on day 8, and then $10 every month on the same date until you cancel. We email you before the trial ends.
  • One free trial per customer, ever. If you have had a trial before, a new subscription is charged from the first day. We may decline a trial where we reasonably believe the same person has already had one.
  • If a payment fails, Stripe retries it over the following days and you keep access meanwhile. If it still cannot be collected, the subscription ends.
  • If we change the price, we tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.

5. Cancellation and refunds

  • You can cancel at any time from Billing in the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period: the end of the trial, or the end of the month you have paid for. You keep access until then and are not charged again. See how to cancel.
  • We do not give partial refunds for the unused part of a month, except where the law requires it.
  • If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of starting it. To use it, email us within that period. Where the law allows, we may deduct an amount for the service you used before withdrawing.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we close an account, or stop the service, for a reason that is not your fault, we refund the unused part of the period you paid for.

6. Acceptable use

Byline Leads helps you take part in public conversations one at a time, as yourself. In particular:

  • You post and send everything yourself. You are responsible for what you post, comment and send, and for following the laws that apply to it, including advertising, consumer protection, anti-spam and data protection law.
  • Follow each platform's terms and each community's rules. Many subreddits, groups and pages limit or ban self-promotion. Where they do, do not promote.
  • Disclose your relationship. When you mention your own product, service or business, say plainly that it is yours (for example "I make X"). Do not pose as an independent customer, and do not post fake reviews, testimonials or endorsements.
  • No spam and no automation. Do not use the service to post the same or similar messages in bulk, to automate accounts, to run bots or several accounts, or to manipulate votes, ratings or rankings.
  • Do not use the results to profile, track, contact privately or harass the people whose posts appear in them. Reply in public, where the platform allows it, or not at all.
  • Do not resell, republish or share your results, and do not copy them in bulk, whether by scraping, scripts, bots or any automated means other than the features we provide.
  • Do not share your account with other people.
  • Do not use the service for anything unlawful, deceptive or abusive, or to impersonate someone else.

7. Search results and other platforms

  • Results come from Google's public search results, obtained through a licensed search results provider. We do not scrape Google and do not sign in to any platform. We list only pages that Google shows to anyone who searches.
  • The pages we list belong to their authors and to the platforms that host them. We do not control them, do not endorse them, and are not affiliated with Google or with any platform we name. We use platform names only to say where a result comes from.
  • Rankings change all the time. A rank is the position we saw in a scan, for that search and country, and may differ from what you see. A page may be changed, locked or removed after we list it.
  • We do not promise any traffic, sales or rankings, or that a community will accept your reply. That depends on what you write and on the people who read it.
  • When you connect a notification channel (for example Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams or a webhook), we send summaries of your new results to that service on your instructions. Its own terms apply to it, and we are not responsible for it. Connect only channels you are allowed to use.

8. AI drafts

  • Reply drafts are written by an AI model, automatically for each result released to you, from what you told us about your product, your instructions for the tracker and the result you are replying to.
  • New versions of a reply you ask for are subject to fair use: up to 30 a day. Automatic reply drafts do not count toward it.
  • You can read the prompt the AI receives and write your own instructions for each tracker. You are responsible for your instructions: they must not ask for anything these terms forbid, such as hiding who you are or inventing facts. Our rules on honesty and disclosure always apply.
  • Drafts can contain mistakes. Read and edit every draft before you use it, and keep the disclosure of who you are. You are the author of anything you post or send, and you are responsible for it.
  • Only give us facts that are true and that you are allowed to share.

9. Your content and ours

Your trackers (what you sell, your searches, your reply instructions and settings), notes, statuses, drafts and sender brief belong to you. You allow us to store and process them only to run the service for you.

Your results point to public pages that belong to others. You may use them for your own replies.

10. Availability and changes

We work to keep Byline Leads available and correct, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Scans depend on our search results provider and may be delayed or incomplete. We may improve or change features. If a change removes something important you pay for, you may cancel and we refund the unused part of the month.

11. Liability

  • Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for intent or gross negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
  • Otherwise, our total liability to you for all claims is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, for what a platform or a community decides to do with your reply, or for action a platform takes against your account.
  • If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.

12. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we tell you by email at least 30 days before the change applies. If you do not agree, you can cancel before then.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia. Disputes go to the competent court in Osijek. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and may bring a claim there.
